Bio-Community.org brings increased exposure to science and science role models to under-resourced classrooms and students of diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Built on the successful National Lab Day (NLD) platform, Bio-Community.org serves as NLD’s Northern California life sciences partner, connecting life science volunteers to grade 7-14 classrooms to positively impact STEM education in the region and beyond.

The Bay Area BioGENEius Challenge recognizes high school students conducting outstanding life science research. Bay Area finalists move on to compete in the National and International BioGENEius Challenges held at the Biotechnology Industry Organization’s Annual International Convention.

The Bio-Link Equipment Depot allows companies to make tax-deductible donations of equipment and supplies that will find a second life in Bay Area classrooms.
